Jaden Singh, B.Sc.

I joined the Wythe Lab in January 2025 after graduating with a double B.A. major in Neuroscience and Computer Science at the University of Virginia.

My journey in neuroscience research began in high school, when I explored the critical flicker fusion frequency phenomenon in fruit flies for my senior-year research. In my first undergraduate year, I interned with NeuroMorpho.Org, where I contributed to generating digital reconstructions published to the project's flagship database. At the end of my second undergraduate year, I joined the Van Horn Lab, where I applied various skills I had accumulated in computer science and data science to support graduate and postdoctoral research. For my Distinguished Majors Project (DMP) thesis during my fourth year, I employed statistical and data analysis techniques to investigate gender-related psychosocial differences in autism.

During my time in the lab, I hope to leverage the power of computational techniques, such as machine learning, to make behavioral analyses of mice more streamlined and precise.
